TITLE: How are Curriculum Learning Outcomes Put into Action?

The Curriculum recommendations for Deaf interpreters are composed of competence based learning outcomes.
The curriculum is structured in 5 domains:
Academic skills, Professionalism, Communication, Languages and cultures, Interpreting and Professional expertise.
Each domain contains 3–7 Topics and each topic contains several learning outcomes.
Learning outcomes of each topic can be applied in various depths and lengths. In this workshop we will bring learning outcomes into practice.
Workshop participants will work together to produce an implementation plan for chosen topics, with the help of the following questions:
Which learning environments would be ideal?
What kind of assignments and functions would be beneficial?
Which subjects should be discussed and worked with in order to reach a certain learning outcome?
